This massive, glitzy resort in central Broadbeach has a lot more going for it than its bustling, 24-hour casino and entertainment center. Spacious Superior, Executive and Pacific View rooms boast ultramodern lighting and technology, iPad docks, smart televisions, plush bedding, rain showers, and marble finishes; Pacific View rooms also include spa baths. Front-facing rooms lack balconies but have great views of the Gold Coast; other rooms look out across the hinterland. A variety of open-plan suites are also available. Restaurants include Kiyomi, specializing in modern Japanese fare, and Cucina Viva, serving contemporary Italian cuisine in an alfresco setting. Other treats include a luxury day spa, massage center, hair salon, tennis court, and gym (including free fitness classes for guests), as well as a new oasis-style pool and Jacuzzi area, complete with private bungalows and cabanas. Currently in a A$345-million revitalization, the hotel's final stage of the redevelopment will include a new six-star luxury hotel tower, alongside an assortment of new restaurants and bars.
